Overivew:
Our group coaching service provides veterinary teams with expert-led support to enhance teamwork, leadership, and communication.
Group coaching offers teams the opportunity to reflect and share experiences. It is a valuable way to navigate challenges, strengthen team dynamics, and make meaningful progress with individual and collective goals.
Led by our experienced coaches, who bring insights from within and outside veterinary practice, these sessions offer a safe, structured space to address challenges, improve collaboration, and develop practical solutions.
Group coaching is often integrated into our Leadership Programme or other extended VetLed support programmes.
Who is this suitable for?
Group coaching can be offered to all members of practice teams, however it is usually delivered as part of another VetLed service such as a Leadership Programme and therefore most relevant to the people who are enrolled.
Service classification:
Practices & teams, corporate organisations
Length:
60 or 90 minute sessions

Jane King
'Dan's talk was fascinating and thought-provoking. It is so applicable to our work in the veterinary sector, both in terms of communication and Human Factors within our practices. Learning in these current times to be adaptive with all that is going on in the world around us is so important.'

‘Amazing and inspiring as always, so many ideas and concepts to take away and take back. Came just at the right time for me when I've maybe been flagging a little professionally. You have all helped stoke that fire and reinvigorate my enthusiasm. Incredibly grateful for this community. Great few days, really enjoyed it, already excited about next year!’

‘The practical day was so helpful. Cat and Sara created an extremely safe environment and were so kind, patient and understanding. Everyone in my group commented on how they felt they could be completely open and share mistakes, silly questions etc.’

“In a busy multi-disciplinary referral hospital like ours, Human Factors plays a key role in team dynamics, staff wellbeing, and ultimately patient care. The support of VetLed has been invaluable in improving our knowledge in this area.
The VetLed team worked with colleagues from across the hospital over an extended period, using observations, frameworks, tools, and techniques that we can take forward on our Human Factors improvement journey.
We are grateful for the support of VetLed and would not hesitate to work with them again in the future.”

“Training and understanding of how the brain works has encouraged people to be braver and speak out. Staff understand it is better to talk to each other rather than harbour resentment. There is now an overall improvement in tolerance and respect towards each other, particularly where there had been previous issues. People are more confident to suggest ideas and more willing to listen.”

FAQs
The group discussions within our VetLed Leadership Programme are designed to follow-up on and apply the content from recorded sessions within each respective module. The facilitator is able to answer specific questions about content in that module. Group coaching is goal focussed. The coach will ask pertinent questions that enable group participants to help each other overcome their respective challenges and reach their goals.
Absolutely! All of our coaches adhere to a strict confidentiality policy, the only exception for which would be for the safety of the client or anyone else referenced. In group coaching, it is required before starting for the group to agree not to share anything discussed without explicit permission from the respective person(s) to which it relates.
Our coaching is usually delivered online and will be booked as either 60 or 90 minutes sessions, depending on the needs of the group and availability. As group coaching is usually delivered as part of our leadership programme, we will book each session to coincide with the respective part of each module. Please note that all coaching services are optional and not included as standard in any of our programmes.
