All the talks I watched on Thursday were amazing, but I especially enjoyed the importance of non-clinical skills development in university and EMS. It was really refreshing and empowering to watch these incredibly inspirational women speak about their journeys to get to where they are now. It was truly eye-opening and awe-inspiring.

Wow, what a conversation starter!
The VetLed Civility training was very impactful really focusing in on how our behaviour towards each other affects patient care. VetLed presented theory and hard-hitting stories but also left our team with a system of tackling incivility practice-wide. This course fitted the bill, Thank You!

'Dan's talk was fascinating and thought-provoking. It is so applicable to our work in the veterinary sector, both in terms of communication and Human Factors within our practices. Learning in these current times to be adaptive with all that is going on in the world around us is so important.'

“The practical day was so helpful. Cat and Sara created an extremely safe environment and were so kind, patient and understanding. Everyone in my group commented on how they felt they could be completely open and share mistakes, silly questions etc.”

"The VetLed Leadership Programme has been an invaluable resource for our leadership team, helping us explore our individual strengths and challenges while aligning our leaders towards a common goal. From the first session, we noticed a difference in confidence with leadership decisions, using tools that prioritize people and foster a healthy and sustainable practice culture.
Their supportive and engaging course leaders provide real-life insight into veterinary practice and create an environment where the team feels encouraged to speak up in group sessions.
I would highly recommend VetLed for any team that understands the importance of their people and the team culture in creating success.”

FAQs
Whilst many people prefer the experience of exploring this topic in-person, we can tailor the delivery for an online experience.
There are many definitions for a positive workplace culture, however in our experience, practices who have a clear sense of their values which are reflected in the team’s behaviours will have the strongest foundations. This workshop does not tell you what your values should be but helps you to develop strategies to identify, communicate and model behaviours that is as closely aligned to your values as possible.
Our short courses are designed to introduce the themes, establishing an underlying understanding and to build interest in the topic. Our half day workshops give greater opportunity to go beyond the theory, to discuss your own practice values and to understand how to practically live them out.
